Seishu ”Nobidome”
A bottle in thanks for the blessing of Nobidome Canal
Seishu “Nobidome” was launched in 2001 in commemoration of 350th anniversary of construction of Nobidome Canal. Being particular about using local ingredients, nothing but the water from a deep well in the City and rice produced by JA Asakano is used.
Moreover, since it is unprocessed, non-filtered hand-brewed sake, it has a strong feel like lordless samurai with rich scent and flavor.
“We want to provide delicious sake for a reasonable price, so we used newspapers as light proofing papers and hand-wrote the labels,” says the owner. Not just the flavor and the product name, but also the packages made with newspapers are also well received because they give the impression of Satoyama.
